Cricket,

I was reading those reuters posts, and it made me do a lot of research on the subject. Barron's has a column on the whole thing, and the NY Times. Hong Kong closed up 38 pts. today.

I personally think that Reuters was getting hysterical on the subject.
Now that I have more info, one being, no they will not sell the treasuries, they may use them for collateral for loans, etc.

Nor, do they have to sell them, from what I've heard. Reuters went a little too far, in my opinion.
