LOL. Well, I've been in this country all my life and I struggle to understand exactly who is white. Everyone thinks they are white, including some blacks. Then there are some white who think they are black. But when it comes down to it, everyone is of mixed breed. There's no such thing as a pure bread human. Only Creationists believe in some master race. The rest of us silly Evolutionists realize that we're all a product of thousands of years of interbreeding and natural selection. And another thing. Everyone thinks they are indigenous American. I'm a REAL American they say, but then all of us were immigrants at some point far back enough. The only real Americans are the American Indians, but they too immigrated from Russia across the Bering Straight millenia ago. All of this race stuff just seems so eminently silly and hysterical to me. Here's a brainstorm for you. People are too full of hate. If everyone was black or everyone was white, then I'm sure they'd find some other way to categorize each other so that they can hate each other. Same thing goes for religion. It's just another stupid way to categorize each other so that we can hate each other. That's all this is. An amazing amount of politically charged ballyhoo co-opted by the hysterical politicos during a politically charged election season, so they can make their political points. While we're all debating about the atrocity of a a vigilante idiot killing a less-than-innocent thug, far worse crimes are being committed every day by our soldiers in other countries and by other Americans against their fellow citizens in this country. So I'm not getting too worked up over this silly case. It has all the earmarks of a ridiculous red herring blown up by the lame stream media to inflame our passions.
