The elderly are covered by medicare.

Should the elderly who can not afford the premiums be allowed to go without insurance and die from lack of treatment?

>>What would you do with the 50 million who do not have health insurance and go to the emergency room for treatment

Have government run emergency rooms that are free, though you may have to wait several days to be treated. Staffed by interns who are required to perform 6 months or a years service before getting their license. Their time served would also reduce their student loans. Total cost much much much less than the 1.7 trillion of Obamacare.
