The Reps made their governing philosophy very clear in that document - shred the safety net and keep feeding the 1% all it can get. It's great that Obama will ahve that blueprint to run against in the fall. no matter what Romney says, all the Reps in Congress voted for it, so it's their baby now.

Personally, I find their political morality disgusting for a modern society. Gimme, gimme, gimme and **** the rest of you lowlifes out there.

>>Have you had a chance to review the latest budget proposal by the Republican party line. Everyone fell into lock step and voted for Ryan's proposals.... IT's very upsetting to me. Cuts in Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.......and
all the things to hurt the elderly and less fortunate...<<

It's not just the deep cuts. It's the fact that the cuts aren't used to bring the budget deficit down, as Ryan claimed they were supposed to, but to fund more big tax cuts for the people who need them the least.

The Ryan budget can't be taken seriously as an attempt to get our fiscal house in order. It's just a continuation of the policies that have widened the income disparity in our country. It's the opposite of the Robin Hood concept. Take from the poor and give to the rich. It's unconscionable.

11 (R)'s voted against the Ryan budget, along with all the (D)'s. I wonder who those hero's were?
