Coulter is way past lunatic fringe. She doesn't even believe Zimm when he said he got into the car after making the call. <G>

The media has been very even handed about the story, though they, like the rest of America, is shocked that an unarmed teen committing no crime we know of has been killed and the killer was released without bail before the evidence was even in or analyzed. Unless Zimmerman is wearing an ankle bracelet, this is unprecedented. A barroom brawl would be investigated better than this has so far.

I have seen many cases where every piece of evidence leans toward self defense, but the killer is still held until a full investigation has been conducted. And that includes cases where the dead person invaded a home with a weapon in his hand. Killing someone is serious. If Zimmerman's shaky story looks stronger in court, then release him.

They told a story on tv news today that a witness claimed that Zimmerman is fine most of the time, but when he gets angry, he goes berserk. I missed attribution for the story and haven't heard it since, so that could be bit of gossip. But stuff like that has to be investigated. Was he really fired from a job for being too physically aggressive? Another factor that should be investigated.
