I did reflect on the possibility that my rejection of that graph's approach to quantifying political beliefs, on the basis of its placement of Nader, demonstrates my own willingness to reject science when I don't like its conclusions. I am quite liberal, and I also do lean toward the libertarian as opposed to authoritarian view. But I'm not a communist, nor a true socialist. I was pretty much smack dab in the center of the lower left quadrant, and the more I think about it, the more I think that's probably just about right.
