I remember seeing in 2008 a video in which Mr. Obama was discussing the Constitution. Apparently, he felt that it had certain shortcomings, and could use some improvements. He spoke about it not as if it was some sort of a... cornerstone, but rather like about a project in progress. Or, at least a project which *needs* to be perfected.

The thing is, there aren't so many truly good ideas. There are only so many ways to nail in a nail, as they say. The Founders found it. All other experiments that followed, worldwide - all failed. It really is simple - protecting individual rights leads to economic and general success. Oppression, including all its collectivist varieties, leads to having an unhappy population - and poverty. And this will be proven again and again, no matter how many times we'll try.

But...... It seems that many people have a strong fear of success - if it is the success of "others". They'd rather see everyone poor but "equal". This is foolish - there is no equality. In every society, some will inevitably become more "equal" than others. Pick your poison - if the division is not determined by money, it will happen through power. Money is far better.
