4/5/12 Contest Update It was a short week for Wall Street, with just four days of trading and the Bears scoring more of the baskets. At Thursday’s close, the Contest median was up 22.79% YTD (vs. up 23.31% YTD last week’s close). In comparison, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 18.59% YTD (vs. up 18.11% YTD last week’s close), while the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 18.25% YTD (vs. up 18.67% YTD last week’s close). BIOJIM’s portfolio, up 49.59% YTD, moved into the Contest lead as DON’s portfolio, up 48.93% YTD, was hurt by THLD profit-taking. Spiked by a fix from Amorfix, my own portfolio, up 45.72% YTD, held on to third place. At Thursday's close, all 38 Contest portfolios remained in the black and 26 of the 38 portfolios were beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
