"Women get pregnant by making choices and the consequence of choice is responsibility and obligation." You pompous and pretentious Windbag! Women have NO obligation to you. Not ever! And you have no control over them and you have NO rights to their body. Tough titty, Kitty! Society has decided that human persons have fundamental rights and freedoms and that the right to abortion conforms to this principle, while any interference in that right would repudiate that principle. These facts flow from the exercise of Reason--and any distortion or denial of these facts is emotionalism or supernaturalism, and is both anti-human and anti-social. Additionally, educated persons and civilized society value the principle of life and thus encourage the use of contraceptives and morning after pills to avoid or to terminate accidental pregnancies. In her opposition to reason, the Church has done incalculable damage to human rights and has undermined human rights and freedoms and the value of human life for centuries.
