I agree with the concept, since I also kept an older 485 for about 5 years and was forced to upgrade modem, HD, and RAM to make it usable. What a pain in the &#$%!!! However, I do think that 2.36 years is a little short. Hopefully, I will be able to use my new Pentium II 266 for three or more years.
