Black on black crime is actually glorified in the lyrics of some rap artists. There is a show on cable called 'Gangland' about all different types of gangs - white, black, latino, bikers. It also shows how violence is glorified in these certain segments of society. I won't pretend to be all high and mighty. If I grew up in the wrong part of town under the wrong circumstances, I might have been one these d-bags trying to prove my worth on the street. I was born in a pretty shitty area, but with good parents. Luckily, went to Catholic school for the first couple years. My parents advanced enough in their careers to get us the heck out of there and I am thankful. It really is a luck of the draw with having good parents that know right from wrong and instill that in their kids.
