The right is responsible for sliding through financial deregulation in the late Clinton administration which is the cause for the financial collapse we had in 2008. Graham Leech Bliley act efeectively repealed the Glass Stegal act. That is on the republicans and their ideology.
Bush got us in to 2 wars which were not worth it and which weakened our standing in the world.
I know the right would love to ignore Bush's role in the financial ruin that Obama inherited, but it would not be honest to ignore that role. That being said, I am not happy with Obama either. But it should be remembered that he did not create the financial train wreck of 2008.
The right being out of control refers to their complete lack of desire to negotiate in good faith. They have become the party of no. Even with the issue of the deficit they refuse to look at defense spending for cuts. That is not a loyal opposition. They have moved to extreme intransigence.
