That's so true. The only way to even out the playing field is to have a system where people who pay more taxes have more power. Not one person - one vote as right now, but some kind of regressive system where the more taxes you pay the more votes you can cast. Regressive - meaning that Bill Gates won't have million votes, but say 100, comparing to an average tax payer having 5, and average person who is not paying taxes - 1 vote.
As someone said people eventually will realize they will find a way to vote themselves 'free' stuff and being 5 year olds they won't see the outcome of such actions. But if only those voted who pay for that 'free' stuff - they would be much more responsible and politicians won't be able to bribe them promising 'free' stuff.
But it is too late now to implement something like that.

Conservatives had better get over all of that or we will become a fringe group of Americans with little to no power. The liberals are so organized the only way to beat them is for us to become more organized them. This is what the TP and GOP know, but they are not the same parties. The GOP is too narrowly focused for the TP.
