Michael,

Your quote holds true for companies that have matured and are operating
in matured endmarkets.

Neither should apply to S3 and the 3D market.

The 3D market will continue to experience high growth rates. The question is
will S3 be able to get back on thatt track of high growth. If yes, it could
easily sell at P/E's near the growth rate and MV/BV could be 3, 4 or 5, as
long as the growth is there. If not, we will be hoovering around where we are
today. Probably, it will be somewhere in between.

If we are correct in our assessment of the value of S3.... Shouldn't we see some insider buying?????? ..... or would the current lawsuit impede management to do anything?
