I think the explanation is that conservative churches play by the rules and liberal churches don't.

then they SHOULDN'T be talking politics from the pulpit.....

Likewise the Federal government shouldn't be telling them what insurance to buy or to marry gay couples.

Pastors have every right to speak out on when religious beliefs are trampled by government.
