He said, How'd you like that news this morning...awesome wasn't it. He stated that while this news is going to be very favorable for the stock, there's going to be more news to follow shortly. Said this could have been announced in September, but the terms wouldn't have been as good. The commercial bonus for newly discovered fields set in the Contract at only .05% of the reserve value would have been b/w 5% and 6%, and the $100,000/yr in social spending would have been closer to $8 million. Being patient was a very economically beneficial virtue. He also said that many will ask..How did AIPN get such good terms? He said, "We became one of them...Kazakstanians." Explanation: While the process was a very lengthy one, we believed then and it is obvious now that it was worth the wait and the effort. George and other AIPN/MSUP rep's did a lot of politicing, entertaining, and gave the Kazak's a chance to get to know and trust them. Took the Prez and other reps from Kazak to DisneyWorld as an example. He commented that George and the Kazak Prez's brother are very good friends, and obviously this didn't hurt either. Wouldn't comment on the Prez's brother's involvement with any of the related companies. Another point of interest...The gentleman that is now a part of DANK, was the lead negotiator for MSUP/AIPN during this process. He used to be the lead negotiator for the Kazak government...he negotiated with Chevron on the part of the government. He was obviously excited about the news and very optimistic about the near future as to stock performance, shareholder satisfaction, and additional news. Was very busy so I didn't feel I could press any further. Long and Accumulating Unc1984
