I have always been confused about the Red State Blue State thing myself. I wonder how that started? Probably some wanker made an election map one day and then they all continued to use the designation.

first the red states were the dems but quickly the lib media got together and said we can't keep looking like socialists so they switched them to blue. That's what I heard
