Interesting. What did the internet bubble contribute to tax revenues?

well i was in the internet bubble, and i did not lose anything. that is because i got out. i also know lots of people who paid incredible amounts of capital gains taxes from 1995 to 2000. it is interesting to know the incredible help this cap gains tax money gave to the government, yet it is essentially ignored by those so-called pundits on tv who like to play the name-calling game. the tax receipt data is there, and some rigorous work could be done by economists or tax accounting people. as far as i know any rigorous study on the subject has not crossed my eyes.
