Well Patrice,

You could write CCs on that stock if they put it to you! That would start to recover your give back. Something to think about. I would not suggest writing naked PUTs on stocks you don't already own. It is much harder to lower your net cost basis (NUT).

Yes, you are lucky that you did not lose any capital appreciation on the underlying stock. You may be able to buy it back for less considering how the Nasdaq got clobbered today.
