S&P,

What's interesting is IOC didn't need to find more NG. They have never been properly valued based on their ownership of Elk/Antelope with 5 TCF. Valuations of E/A based on IOC share price is around $0.40 - $0.50 mcf.

When you add another couple TCF for Triceratops, the valuations becomes ridiculous and don't forget the huge short position.

Going to be an interesting few weeks for IOC. My guess is back above $70 by summer.

S&P,

"On the right, they are showing you the sample after being cut with solvent. It shows a bloom which is indicative of very good porosity. If porosity was low, it would show up like a comet tail, streaming out of the individual grains. This is a key indicator for me that permeability is high (at least for that depth)."

The sample was crushed, so we really don't know for sure of the perm.

I like the fluorescence though in the sample to the left. Very similar to what I see in the Mississippian Ls. reefs around these parts of central Texas, which are mostly a gas drive. Looks like they have a keeper.

I guess their only problem is low gas prices........
