Mohan, here's the near-term, worst case set-up: If US markets sell-off
100 pts. or more today, Japanese equity markets will feel even more
uncertainty and system disenfranchisement. Especially after the
trading holiday and given the Yamaichi bankruptcy.

Asset devaluation impacts still have a potential here to degenerate into asset preservation trading strategies. I am not rooting for
this occurrence but as a conservative investor I am prepared for
that situation. Most investors are not, however. IMHO.
