It is sick and disgusting to pretend there's a crisis caused by premature births when there isn't.

medical science is allowing more and more babies to be born at an ever younger premature age. That's a fact. It's also a fact that medical care for these youngest infants is hugely expensive.

That's like saying automobiles have allowed more people to be injured in traffic accidents and demand to know how are we going to pay for the costs of those accidents.

That's a fact - nothing more, just a fact. Soooooo, how do you care for these premature infants?

Again, the costs associated with premature infants should continue to be borne by the people and institutions paying for them now.

BTW if you want to decrease the number of premature births, we should seek to prevent teenage pregnancies.
