Jurgis, the whole bull run from the SP500 at 666 to now 1400 points has happened without individual investors adding much in terms of stock allocation. There are institutional buyers as well as hedge funds and who knows what, that are calling the shots. A lot of those are pretty weak hands in my opinion. The maxim of the hedge funds is to panic before everyone else does. If they do it, I have no problems going to 90% allocation again.

I don't claim to know what happens in the future - I just want to have cash when extreme bargains are available, which i expect to occur from time to time.
