This is even more fitting today. Words and phrases have meanings Kenneth.

The Obama White House is in full bunker mode. Don't believe me? Here's the definition of "bunker mentality from the Merriam-Webster Dictionary of Allusions:

In politics, a "bunker mentality" is an embattled frame of mind, often accompanied by an aggrieved sense of being unfairly under attack. The term is most often applied to American Presidents who suffer political reverses and assume a surly, defensive posture - all critics are enemies; if you're not for us you're against us; etc.

Rasmussen Employment Index Dips Following Recent High

After reaching a three-year high in February, the Rasmussen Employment Index slipped four points in March to 83.5

Twenty-two percent (22%) of working Americans in March reported that their firms are hiring while 20% report layoffs. The hiring number is down one point from February.

Generally speaking, a decrease in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government reports on job creation will be weaker than the prior months. The Index measures workers’ perceptions of the labor market and is reported each month.

The survey of 8,987 working Americans was conducted in March 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 1 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Poll Shows Even In Michigan Unions Are Despised

Politics:
A new poll shows that labor unions are detested in, of all places, Michigan. Maybe that has something to do with what they've done to that state's economy and their effort to recall the governor who aims to reverse it.

What I am interested in reading is Obama supporting his plan of increasing our debt to 20 trillion dollars...and how that is why we should vote for him...instead he attacks another idea without supporting his...huge debt increase.

Judge Napolitano Slams Obama’s SCOTUS Criticism: ‘No Pres. Has Questioned This Since Andrew Jackson!’
video
by James Crugnale | 8:26 am, April 3rd, 2012 Appearing on Fox and Friends Tuesday, Judge Andrew Napolitano took a swipe at President Obama‘s demand to the Supreme Court to not overturn his health care law, calling it incomprehensible and desperate.

“We were scratching our heads when we were watching this and had it played over and over again because this is a graduate of Harvard Law School, the head of the Harvard Law Review and he taught constitutional law review at the University of Chicago,” said Napolitano. “Two of the best law schools in the country and he’s rejecting a basic premise of American law that’s not been seriously questioned in 175 years, which is this: the courts have the right to review what the Congress does and what the President does and if the court finds that behavior unconstitutional, they can void, they can invalidate what the Congress and the what the President does. That’s our system. That’s what preserves the Constitution against the tyranny of the majority. No president has questioned this since Andrew Jackson!”

Yo, kenny_troll Is Justice Sotomayer a White-Hispanic?

Do you hate her too?

I think she tipped Obama off to being shot down 6-3, especially after his Freudian slip today.

I heard the clip on the Rush show..........and it was a spectacular slip.

Your idiot hero should not be permitted to speak without a teleprompter.

So far I can't find the audio on the internet but it's worth it's weight in diamonds.

"The president has resorted to distortions and partisan potshots."

It would have been hilarious if specific questions regarding the Ryan proposal would have been asked of Obama...naturally, he only gave a speech written by his writers and his knowledge is minimal...

But, then, partisans would argue that it was unfair to ask questions about it...
