Penny wise, pound foolish

That is the Toronto municipal government.. Glad I won't be here in 10 years...

Let's see if Harper's recent noise comes to fruition or naught.. I sure hope he changes a dangerous trend started in the 50s.. John A for all his warts must be rolling over in his grave.. and rightly so... If we don't build the pipes.. we are $rewed.. We don't need more McGuinty's trying to harness wind.. unless he is will to put a turbine in from of his mouth..

OK end of brief political rant..

EDIT: THX D I cross posted it here Message 28057432

>>What the bankers did not reveal, although they had long known it themselves, was that private banks create the money they lend just as public banks do. The difference is simply that a publicly owned bank returns the interest to the government and the community, while a privately owned bank siphons the interest into its capital account, to be re-invested at further interest, progressively drawing money out of the productive economy. <<

Yep, it's the royal scam alright ... I'd love to know what Canada's debt would be without the accrued interest.
