So why are 51% of scientists liberal, 80% lean Democratic and only 6% are Republican's, if we on the left are so loony?

Who pays their salaries????

If it is the government then the worker is very likely to be liberal.

Try a survey of engineers and scientists that work in the private sector for an unbiased sample.
