It is interesting to see all this bickering on the eve of earning announcement. All you have to do is sleep one night and you will all see how it turns out. What is the point of bickering, rehashing the same words over and over?

And what is the point of taking sadness/delight in other's correct/wrong decision when he/she is already sufficiently rewarded/punished on their own? We all love to be right. But unlike in other things in life, this market decision is self rewardning/punishing. We don't need an arena with cheering/jeering crowd to show who won and who lost. Because we all know how to look at our balance sheet.

Incidentally, the attachment and loyalty that some people feel toward Dell as a company is really impressive. It reminds me of another such attachment I have seen in the past. Apple.

I myself am not attached to any company. I am in the market to make money, not to support any cause. And my investment style ranges from buy-and-hold to hit-and-run as the circustance dictates.

All Dell longs, rest assured that buy and hold always works and the stock market always eveentually goes up. The only deficienty I have compared to you wise people is that I don't have patience to wait for 25 years. But for you long term players, all the power to you. I envy your patience and perseverance. Please don't count me as "the other side" because I will join you when Dell hits 60 or so.

By the way, what happened to those guys who were posting real time Dell stock price until a few hours ago? Please continue. I don't get real time quotes.
