Coca-Cola Leaves Pro-Voter ID Organization After Democrats Threaten Boycott

Mediaite ^ | April 4, 2012 | Frances Martel

Democratic officials called for a boycott of certain companies supporting an organization pushing for voter ID laws today– among them Walmart and Coca-Cola– of which at least one has responded. Five hours after the boycott rallying call came, Coca-Cola issued a statement that it would withdraw support of that organization, the American Legislative Exchange Council, but not specifically because of the voter ID law support: Coca-Cola, the statement read, did not customarily support political efforts that had nothing to do with the corporation itself, and the news that ALEC had now developed an agenda independent of anything related to Coca-Cola...

The fact that he could have been seriously injured or even killed at the hands of Travon Martin is of no concern, because George never really mattered to the story.

What About George Zimmerman?

"If Florida did not have this dangerous National Rifle Association-promoted law, Trayvon Martin would be alive today." Trayvon Martin: Victim of NRA/Gun Industry Marketing of Concealed Carry - Huffington Post

You have to love the argument…get rid of the law and Trayvon Martin would be alive today.

What about George Zimmerman? Well, George doesn’t matter, he never did. George was just a tool.

First used by Al, Jesse and the likes to incite rage over what had to be the wrongful killing of an innocent, unarmed, young black man. You know, the one originally represented by the picture of that sweet 15 year old African American boy targeted by the white George Zimmerman. The one the doctored NBC tape would seem to imply. Certainly not the 17 year old black male with the gold grill and hoodie that now appears to have attacked the Hispanic George.

Now, he’s used by those on the left to further their argument against guns.

What about George? George either rots in jail for the killing of an innocent man or he forever remains a symbol of gun violence. That is at least until the left gets their way and all guns are banned.

The fact that he could have been seriously injured or even killed at the hands of Travon Martin is of no concern, because George never really mattered to the story.
