What are you talking about? Corporate bonds are all over the place. You're getting 9% on your junk bonds reflecting the risk you are taking.

It literally goes to the heart of why the US has seen enormous prosperity as compared to other countries. We have valued free markets and have a foundation based on regulated free markets that has worked for 200+ years. Yet increasingly since 1929, the Fed has accrued more and more power....

Yeah the last 100 years have been a miserable time in US history. Geez....

Is that some sort of a libertarian fantasy? Interest rates are a Fed tool to juice or restrain the economy, and always have been.
