Jim - I'm on vacation this week so I have time to beat up the
bears. It sure is easy... and fun too!! Who knows, Dell
may only meet expectations and then this thread will be
flooded with "I told you so's" and "it's the end of the world"
for PC manufacturers. Now fighting the bears under those
circumstances will be a BIG job.

I don't think the number will have as much of an impact as M. Dell's
forward looking statements. He is going to have to walk a
fine line setting expectations this time. Paint a rosy picture for future prospects while reiterating the fact that they can't be
expected to grow at 100%. Any mention of pricing pressures due
to the industry's assault on the direct model and, well, yikes!
