Many semi companies sell products into Apple eventually burned in flame; portal player, lsi(consumer division) come in mind. I'm paying close attention to CRUS, it's almost ready...

"Most of Apple's main suppliers, starting with Samsung, Qualcomm, Broadcomm, not to mention Hon Hai, are making record profits. There is some really bad, even bizarre, investment information going on around here."
As a component supplier, if you can't make money with the scale that an Apple contract gives you, you are in the wrong business. No doubt, Apple is a tough negotiator with respect to pricing and QC, but they can only squeeze hard when competition exists to meet their demands. it does them no good to drive their suppliers out of business.
