So you are okay with the idea that we evolved out of monkey like creatures?

<<Personally, I don't find the ideas of a God and evolution incompatible at all. Physicists have convincing theories about the beginning of the universe in the big-bang, but what created the conditions which made the big-bang possible? Perhaps evolution is just one of God's tools.>.

I always found it amazing that anyone could say, well: "the universe is so complicated a god had to design it". But then not make the next logical step of asking who created god, who would be even more complicated?

Then they usually respond well god always existed, but then why can't the universes have always existed?

And quantum physics has shown how the big bang can work. Virtual particles pop in and out of nothing all the time. The big bang might have simply been a vacuum fluxuation.
