That surprises me as better for Brazil.. but looking at the entire picture I had my kids learn Spanish.. I figured Portuguese (from experience) easy with a French base and add Spanish likely no brainer.. When my family had a business in Montreal they had at least 50 Portuguese employees from Portugal.. Maybe a month or two and they were comfortable in French.. My youngest sister,.. six months in California.. and Spanish was a breeze.. (her French is better than mine).. So anyway.. Daughter had same experience with Spanish.. Son we will see as he is only twelve...
