But it's a big day: The annual April 20 Day of Silence protests the bullying that gay students often endure. Maverick's lawyer says he'll continue to push the school to let his client wear the shirt on any day he feels like it. Waynesville High School, which contended that the shirt was sexual in nature and not appropriate school attire, would say only that progress had been made, reports the AP.
