Nevertheless, your claim that our constitution should recognize universal health care as constitutional because Britain has it and our common law (and thus, our constitution) was derived from theirs is nonsense. It sounds like something Joe Biden would say.

As I recall our constitution was largely based on the UK's and they've had universal coverage a long time...

We have our own constitution that takes precedence over common law, Britain doesn't even have a written constitution and if they did it wouldn't be the same as ours. Our constitution is NOT based on the UK's.

However, you may know more about the constitution than our poorly informed President.
