I used to buy the Sunday NYT for the crossword puzzle. As much as I love that puzzle, I won't buy that paper. They no longer have the reputation they once enjoyed. People used to think Dan Rather and Walter Cronkite were the last word. That changed too. People who read the NYT and follow politics on the Internet, or watch Fox and MSNBC to keep up on what's going on are a very small percentage of the population. It will come down to sound bites and nasty ads. IMHO, it will come down to Florida, PA, VA and Ohio.
