Yes, I aware of that and I'm astounded by how hard core you are in your insistence that the Republican nominate must someone that is hard right. To get elected the next President is going to have to carry Virginia, Ohio and Florida, so please no hard right candidates this year anyway.

People don't want to believe that that free money from Washington is going to have to stop very shortly.
Between now and the election you're not going to be able to teach them that, so we have to go with someone that isn't going to preach at them, or go all hard right. After the election the President can start with the fireside talks to explain the deep shit that we are in.

Maryland is like two states. Remove Baltimore City, Howard County, Prince George's County and Montgomery County and the rest of the state is very conservative. Maybe Washington will take them as part of DC.
