Well I don't know your brother. Here is what I do know: The state nearly elected (some claim it did elect, but the election was stolen from her) one of the most conservative republicans I know and they did elect a Republican governor 8 years later. In both of those elections, the only jurisdictions carried by the dems were Baltimore City, Prince George's County, which are majority african american and Montgomery County which is a Washington bedroom community. The rest of the state went Republican in those two elections including Southern Maryland. Your brother is entitled to his opinion, but the facts are the facts. lj
