I thought our 1st amendment states the "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; . . ." I remember as a kid that some protestants believed that Catholics should not have the right to be Presidents. Now, some of the Conservatives have stated to me that they would not vote for Romney should not be a President because of his religion. To me that is just BS. To me religion has no place as to whom is qualified to be President - it is the quality of life they have lived and are living as long as they do not try to impose their religious principles on me.
