Oh no. I don't shoot Krugman as a messenger. He's the key spokesman for the opposite side of my arguments. He is what he is. He's extremely intelligent and well read. I won't discredit him as a messenger. In fact, in that role, he is par excellence. However, I am just on the opposite side of the issue from him. I think he trafficks in psuedo science and lives in an ivory tower, whereas, I live in the real world where there is no free lunch and the government can only ever take food from one mouth to give to another. The government doesn't create wealth. All they can ever do is reallocate it. And boy are they reallocating like madmen right now. From the 99% straight to the 1%. I'm a beneficiary, but I don't have to like it. I happen to think it is immoral to impoverish my kids so that I can benefit.
