I have seen stats to support both sides of this issue. IMHO this is "Not" a long term problem and the retail channels will clear this out very quickly. I am still very bullish on 3COM.>> Extreme price erosion at the low end for all kinds of networking devices is one key factor for this stock and will be difficult to regain premiums as in the past for future. Time will tell if name brand, and integrated benefit with high-ends can substain some margins.
