I picked up a conversation that we had been having years ago (I held off on it while trying to catch up in other message areas on SI, but then I realized I'd never catch up). The reply is in the context of the whole conversation. The essential point doesn't automatically become what you consider the essential point. Define what you mean by "human". Human, or a human. I was talking about the later. The former can be an adjective. The later is a noun. A human being. A member of the species homo-sapiens (and possibly other species of homo that are sufficiently close to homo-sapiens, but they don't exist anymore so the point is moot for them)
