The problem is when the government makes the decision as to the character of that responsibility based on political agenda. Then social responsibility morphs into totalitarian despotism. That is the path the EPA, FEMA, NLRB , etc are taking the country under the current administration.

We have a social responsibility to:

1. Provide for our own.

2. Be law abiding citizens.

3. Be good neighbors -- treating others as we would be treated.

That's all Ben. Anything beyond that is between us and our Maker.

The government has no right to force us to give a damn dime to another person.

And don't ask me what about the infirm or aged. See above.

The social responsibility for any and all businesses is to abide by the laws of the land... a business is not a person, you really need to understand that distinction... beyond biding by the laws of the land, businesses have absolutely NO social responsibility nor should they... to think they should is a liberal pipe dream attempting to morph a business into a social services agency... that just ain't gonna happen, so forget about it...
