But why is it that it is the responsibility of the corporation and not the children or the parents themselves?

I took care of my parents, my father lived with me for two years before he died, I changed his diapers, I believed it was my responsibility and I was happy to do it. No corporation will ever have that attitude and I don't expect them to. I took responsibility for my parents and I am taking responsibility for myself. If you take that responsibility away from me you are robbing me of my pride and my dignity. I will fight back.

Why should corporations do anything for anyone? A business is not a social services agency... if an employee wants his parents to be covered under a health care plan, then the person should be responsible for his own family... I don't understand why you think a business should owe anyone anything other than a paycheck...
