One has nothing to do with the other... end State monopolies of health care coverage, let people shop for the best health care package everywhere just like you shop for the best deal for car insurance... today, you cannot buy health care outside your own State... if you could shop from coast to coast, then you would find health care insurance companies dropping rates to attract more business... competition works if we let it... people could then afford to buy their own policies... this is not a mandate, this is free enterprise in action... if you don't want to buy insurance, then that's your choice, but the government would be out of the picture, no tax money is spent, and health care costs would go down significantly...
