A lot of companies are employee owned and have profit sharing plans. I suggest working at one.

What someone gets paid for their work is really none of your business... if it's a public company, then it's up to the shareholders to decide and vote for or against... you or any government official has no place making those kinds of decisions... it's funny you mention $30 million for a paycheck, I'll tell you a personal story, some of my business partners did a project and most of the people we hired were paid 10% above scale for their specific job tasks, but we paid one individual $30 million for his job... the reason I mention this is that it clearly illustrates exactly my point, i.e., one's salary is between the employer and the employee, it is not the government's business to meddle into private business and make arbitrary decisions about who should get paid what and how... what business is it of the government to tell me or anyone how much we should pay someone for their work?
