Paying for your parents healthcare. What next? Pay their retirement checks. Isn't that exactly what is happening today? The parent retires at say 65 and draws Social Security and applies for Medicare. Their children are working and taxed to fund both programs. The government is taking money from the children's generation and redistributing it to the parents. This is probably the biggest Ponzi scheme in the history of the world.
