I use this thread for market direction but have made most of my money with small caps. I have tried to trade downtrends and PMs via ETFs with mixed results as they deteriorate quickly once the short term trend flattens or reverses. But I have done best with specific small caps and cash generally seaching for underperforming stocks with gaps at much higher levels and preferably with insider buying. If I sense huge downturn, I might buy back into SDS - but this has a history of deteriorating.
