Well, if Trayvon did indeed attack Zimmerman which some of the evidence is pointing to, then Zimmerman would now be dead if Trayvon was armed.

It's clear to me that Zimmerman had no intention of physically harming Trayvon or he would not have bothered to call the police in the first place.

A third of all murders are committed with hands by the Uniform FBI Crime Statistics. Being a 6'-3" football player that Trayvon was certainly armed and very dangerous.
