Think that it is thru examining ones own life that we come to certain realizations easily if we can keep the train going long enough & not get distracted . After all it does end someday & what did we did we get out of all this breathing if not to leave some vestige of our own behind in ways that adds to the betterment of it ? To be able to lay your body down & know that you did the best you could & tried to grasp as much as you could leaving a good essence as part of that new whole going forward . So in this way it is eternal really from many different lives & sources , of lives lived & expressed elegantly that got something out of it. For how do we all know these things we know if it wasn't for those that went before & chose to leave traces of their impressions behind but certainly doesn not come from any one book , thats for sure or any one time . So many lights that got stamped out we'll never know about because of the oppression of those times , we only know the tiniest fraction of all human experience yet here someone's trying to shove one book in your face . Sorry they don't get it and even these great religions would be nothing at all , nor would Jesus have been anything but for the great minds & brave souls that preceded him/them too . Thats just the way it is , Christians , Islam & Jew all get lost in this thinking they are the last eternal word ..and we know God &/or the entire Universe is simply laughing at them all here . Lets all meet back here in 5,000yrs & discuss it again ... there will be prophets everywhere i bet ! ;o)
